LS Refill 3 piece Spare Lead, of Brass for Scratchbrush # 2834L

Brass wire bundles for our 2834 scratchbrush holder. We prepare these refills to seat directly into the internal chuck of the pen. The soft metal strands scrub oxidization away from components without the severe abrasion of steel wire.

Brass strand bundle

The fine brass wires form a dense working tip that conforms to uneven contours. It scours surface debris, old flux, and oxide layers from small parts.

Holder integration

These leads fit inside the mechanical clutch of our matching scratchbrush. Turning the holder advances fresh wire as the exposed working end wears down.

Replacing a worn lead

Unscrew the collet at the front of the pencil holder to release the depleted core. Slide the new refill into the channel and tighten the nose back down.

Bench storage

Keep unused refills dry in their package until needed. Stray moisture can dull the brass strands before they ever touch a movement plate or case back.
