Mainspring Winder for ETA 2824-2, 2834-2, 2836-2

The assembly takes the spring into the drum evenly so the coil transfers squarely into the mainspring barrel. It keeps hand strain off the spring during assembly.

Barrel drum fit

The inner diameter of the drum matches the barrel cavity of the 2824 family. The mainspring coils directly inside without binding on the wall before the transfer into the movement barrel.

Arbor hook engagement

We shape the winding hook to catch the inner eye of the mainspring cleanly. It holds the end while the handle turns, then releases when the plunger drives the coil into place.

Plunger and body

The knurled body gives your fingers a steady grip while the internal plunger pushes the coiled spring home. You control the depth of stroke by feel as the spring seats in the barrel.
