We turn this brass handle for right hand mainspring winders. It carries the winding drum and arbor as you coil the spring, then uses an internal plunger to push the loaded barrel clear. This listing is for the handle alone, ready to take your separate winders at the bench.
Brass handle body
We turn the outer body from solid brass with a knurled grip. It sits between the fingers without shifting while you wind the mainspring onto the arbor.
Internal release plunger
The central rod slides through the core of the tool. A steady push on the plunger face unseats the drum and ejects the wound mainspring directly into its barrel.
Right hand winder fit
We mill the receiving socket to seat right hand winding arbors and drums. The parts mate squarely so the assembly stays true while turning against spring tension.
Bench storage
Keep the handle in a dry wooden block or a slotted tray near your winding drums. Wipe the bore with a dry pegwood stick if old grease gathers inside.
