Large movements call for heavier reach under the hands. We build the 30669-4 with wide lifting jaws and a central steadying pin sized for alarm clocks and timer mechanisms. Squeezing the side springs draws the feet together and lifts the hand off the arbor along its axis.

Lifting jaw profile

The paired lower jaws slip underneath the hand boss. When the side springs close, the beveled edges slide along the dial surface and lever the bushing upward without tilting the post.

Center plunger action

The central pin rests directly on top of the movement arbor. It stays stationary against the shaft while the jaws pull upward, directing the lifting force straight along the arbor line.

Sprung side arms

The spring steel frame supplies the return action as you pinch the sides. Releasing your finger grip lets the arms spread wide again so the tool clears the movement plate.

Bench storage

Keep the jaws dressed smooth and free of burrs between uses. The tool lies flat in a drawer partition or hangs from a rack by the loop of its spring frame.
