This spare point threads into the handle of our 6767-F spring bar tool when the original tip has worn down. We turn it from stainless steel with a straight cylindrical profile. The 0.8mm face catches drilled lug holes and pushes bracelet clasp release pins without crowding the aperture.
The fine tip profile
We turn the working end to a uniform 0.8mm diameter. The cylindrical section stays straight to the flat face so it seats squarely inside drilled lug holes and small clasp holes.
Stainless steel stock
The piece is machined from solid stainless steel. It resists corrosion from bench moisture and holds its ground profile under direct axial pressure against stubborn spring bar pivots.
Threaded shank fit
A male thread on the opposite end seats directly into the matching handle body. It screws home until the shoulder meets the knurled ferrule, keeping the tip aligned under load.
Replacing a worn point
Unscrew the blunted point with your fingers or a small pair of pliers padded with leather. Thread this replacement into the tapped end of the handle until it bottoms out firmly.
