A worn fork slips out of spring bar shoulders instead of compressing them cleanly. We thread this 3.0mm wide steel fork as a direct replacement tip for the 6767-S handle. Keep the handle on the bench and screw in a fresh working end.
Fork geometry
The 3.0mm profile gives broad contact across the shoulder of standard spring bars. Two prongs capture the flange so you can compress the pivot without wandering into the leather.
Threaded shank
The base is turned with threads that match the barrel of our 6767-S handle. It seats directly into the tool nose without play once turned home.
Replacing a worn tip
Forks take heavy loads and wear down over repeated strap changes. When the prongs round off, unscrew the spent point and thread this replacement directly into the collet.
Bench storage
We supply this as a bare replacement blade rather than a complete tool. Keep a spare in the drawer beside your primary handle so work does not stop when a tip needs changing.
