We supply this complete apparatus under number 55-030 for opening and securing waterproof cases. The heavy vice anchors to the bench, accepting interchangeable jaws and specialized suction heads. You match the inserts to the case profile before applying torque to a stubborn back.
Main bench vice
The central vice mounts flat to the bench to provide a rigid foundation. Its screw mechanism advances smoothly, holding the work centered while both hands remain free to manage the wrench or key.
Case holding jaws
Four pairs of shaped jaws insert directly into the vice frame. They seat around the perimeter of the watch case, distributing clamping pressure along the case flanks rather than concentrating it at a single point.
Adiprene suction heads
Upper and lower suction heads use adiprene cups to grip smooth case surfaces through friction. They hold without biting into the metal, giving purchase on case backs that lack external slots or key holes.
Adjustable jaw profiles
A selection of adjustable jaws accommodates specific case patterns. The fittings engage square notches, curved flanks, pin holes, grooved backs, polygon designs, and Aquastar pattern cases.

Opening a stubborn case back
