Our 4266 crystal lift grips round unbreakable crystals around the perimeter to compress them slightly for extraction or placement. You turn the knurled ring to draw the jaws inward together, freeing the glass from the bezel groove without stripping down the movement. Other variants of the 4266 pattern are listed separately.

Gripping jaws

The curved metal jaws close radially around the circumference of the crystal. As the mechanism tightens, the teeth compress the edge evenly so the crystal pops free of the bezel seat.

Knurled adjustment ring

We cut coarse knurling into the adjustment ring so your fingers do not slide while turning it under tension. Rotating the collar expands or contracts the jaw spread uniformly.

Direct dial access

The tool allows extraction of the glass straight from the front of the case. This gives direct access to the dial and hands for minor corrections or drying out trapped condensation.

Tension ring limitation

This pattern is designed for standard round plexiglass and acrylic crystals lacking an internal metal tension ring. Armored crystals with rigid metal rings will not compress under the jaws.
