What it isSomething that holds the work
Bench jobSetting up the bench

Opening a tight case back requires the watch to stay flat on the bench without tilting under the key. We build this vice to anchor the piece firmly between paired jaws or soft suction cups. You choose the inserts that match the case rim, tighten the spindle, and work with both hands free.

Interchangeable jaw sets

We supply four pairs of case-holding jaws that slot directly into the body. They cradle the perimeter of the watch evenly, distributing pressure around the metal rim rather than pinching across the crystal.

Suction head fittings

Round adiprene suction heads sit below and above the work. The slip-resistant cups grip smooth case backs and polished crystals by contact, holding delicate surfaces steady without metal teeth touching the bezel.

Adjustable profile inserts

A selection of specialized jaws handles square notches, curved case flanks, holes, grooved edges, and polygon patterns. The inserts match the milled recesses found on Aquastar and other specialized waterproof cases.

Bench mounting spindle

The central vice mounts securely to the work surface to resist the rotational drag of heavy case openers. A smooth lead screw brings the opposing slides together squarely against the watch body.
