Shaped tip profile

We grind the working ends thin enough to find the underside of a balance roller. The profile gives you purchase to lift or turn the component without spreading the tips wide.

Steel arm tension

We mill the arms from steel to keep the spring resistance steady. The tips meet squarely when you close them, so the part sits firm without skewing sideways under pressure.

Shorter body length

The 95 mm pattern sits deep inside the palm. That brings your index finger close to the tips for direct control when you guide a roller over a balance staff.

Care at the bench

Keep the tips dressed with fine abrasive paper to clear stray brass or oil. Store the tool in its sleeve so the pointed ends do not knock against heavier steel drivers.
