This is our standard 1.20 mm driver under catalogue number 30080-05. We turn the barrel with fine knurling so your fingers register the position without hard pinching. The swivel head turns freely under your index finger while the blade tracks the slot.
The 1.20 mm blade
We grind the flats parallel to seat squarely against the walls of a 1.20 mm screw slot. When a blade wears down or chips, loosen the set screw on the ferrule to swap in a fresh one.
Chromium-plated barrel
The barrel carries a chromium-plated finish over the knurling and shank. It wipes clean at the end of the shift and resists bench grease from long handling sessions during assembly.
Swivel head action
The cap rotates smoothly while your forefinger applies downforce on the top of the driver. Your thumb and middle finger provide the turning torque below, keeping the tip aligned.
Holding the tool
A dedicated driver keeps its place on the bench beside your movement holder. Use it on bridge screws, setting levers, or small bracelet links where this exact width matches the fastener.

A note that touches this tool
Reading a catalogue number
What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.
Choosing a blade width
Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
