What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobCleaning and finishing

We supply our 2686 polishing brush assortment with uniform steel shanks for standard rotary collets. These miniature wheels take paste and compound to carry finishing work into tight recesses, case corners, and bezel seats. Use them lightly to let the bristle tips carry the paste across the metal.

Steel shanks

Each brush head is centered on a 2.35 mm steel shank. The straight stem chucks directly into a micro motor collet or bench handpiece without wobble, running true at finishing speeds.

Bristle selection

The assortment includes different bristle textures for step-by-step finishing. Stiffer fibers carry coarse compounds across flat surfaces, while softer hair spreads fine rouge into detailed profiles.

Compound retention

The bristles are packed to hold paste near the perimeter while you work. Charge the wheel sparingly against a block of compound to avoid throwing grease across the bench.

Rotary dressing

Before touching a movement part, run the new brush against an abrasive block to true the diameter. This squares the working face and cleans loose fibers away from the shank.
