Small Brush for polishing 22mm

Synthetic fibers set into a 22mm head give this small brush its working face. We turn the hub to mount cleanly on the bench arbor, keeping the diameter tight so you can address a single flank or bezel without flooding the surrounding metal. Other sizes in the 2686 family serve wider work.

Synthetic fiber bundle

We pack the head with synthetic bristles that hold paste and compound without matting down. The fibers retain their stiffness as they sweep across the work, clearing debris as they carry the abrasive over the metal surface.

The 22mm face

A 22mm diameter keeps the contact area narrow. You control where the edge meets the piece, working recesses, lug interiors, and small hardware where a broader wheel would bridge across edges you intended to leave untouched.

Hub and mounting

The center bore fits the standard bench spindle true. It runs square to the work without runout or wobble, allowing the outer face of the bristles to make even contact under light hand pressure.

Keeping it clean

Wash the fibers out when changing compounds so coarse grits do not contaminate a finer finishing step. Store the brush dry on its peg so the bristle bundle keeps its circular profile between service jobs.
