What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobCleaning and finishing

Fine tweezer tips take regular wear and drift out of true as you work. We supply our 2460 stone to bring those points back flat and parallel across two working faces. One face is coarse for reshaping metal, while the opposite face is fine for final dressing.

Two working faces

The block carries a coarse diamond grit on one side and a fine grit on the other. You cut away bruised metal on the first face, then turn the stone over to smooth the flat.

Stone dimensions

The working surface measures 6 x 75 x 25 mm. That footprint leaves enough length for a steady draw stroke while staying compact enough to sit beside your bench block without crowding your work area.

Dressing tweezer tips

Hold the tweezer jaws closed under light finger pressure and draw the tips flat across the diamond face. Keep the angle low and steady so both points remain symmetrical without thinning the metal unevenly.

Bench maintenance

Diamond abrasives cut dry or with a drop of fluid. Clear spent metal swarf off the face with a dry bench brush or a soft pegwood stick so the cutting surface stays open for the next pass.
