Movement Holder Bergeon Vices Watch Repair Kit

We machine this auxiliary holder to mount directly into our bench vices, including the 5700 series frames. Four independent synthetic pegs hold the case body from the perimeter. This arrangement lets you secure the piece while the strap or bracelet remains attached.

Adjustable synthetic jaws

Four movable plastic posts seat against the outer flanks of the watch case. The synthetic material gives a firm purchase on metal surfaces without applying bare steel directly to the exterior walls.

Vice frame mounting

The base drops directly into our dedicated bench openers and vices. It locks into the primary station, keeping the work rigid beneath your case opener keys or hand levers without shifting sideways.

Open strap clearance

The open layout between the four posts leaves the top and bottom clear. Straps and bracelets drop through the open space beneath the jaws, so you can clamp the case without removing the spring bars.

Movement and case work

By turning the adjustment screw, the jaws draw inward evenly to steady the watch during uncasing or case back removal. When a peg shows wear from grit, it unscrews from the runner for replacement.
