N Microfibre Cleaning and Polishing Cloth for Watches and Jewelry

Wiping down a case requires a textile that takes up oils rather than smearing them across the metal. We weave reference 7850-2 from fine microfibre with two distinct surfaces. One face cleans away shop dust and skin grease, while the opposite side buffs the metal and crystal before the watch leaves the bench.

Dual textured microfibre

We give this cloth two working faces. The cleaning side lifts greasy residues and loose bench dirt from the metal, while the smoother reverse side buffs the polished case flanks and the crystal.

Handling at the bench

The material drapes over the fingers easily so you can wrap a lug or support a case back. It gathers skin oils during the final inspection pass without requiring liquid solvents on the exterior.

Care and grit management

Watchmakers fold these cloths to keep clean working areas ready. Once loaded with grime, wash the textile without fabric softeners, which leave residues that transfer directly back onto polished steel and precious metals.

Storage between jobs

Keep reference 7850-2 in a clean drawer or covered box between uses. A cloth left open on the bench top collects airborne swarf and abrasive dust that will mar freshly buffed surfaces.
