What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobSetting up the bench

Chronograph pushers with threaded collars need a direct, square interface to break free cleanly. We cut this 4.10 mm key to mate with the specific splines of screw-on pushers, turning them true on their threads. It mounts into our matching tool handles for steady bench work.

Pusher key profile

We mill the internal face to 4.10 mm so the teeth seat fully into the collar splines. The depth matches the exposed rim of the pusher assembly, letting the torque go into the thread rather than tilting across the pusher cap.

Mounting on the bench

The shank slips directly into our dedicated 5901 series handles and driver bodies. Once locked in place, the driver keeps your hand aligned with the tube axis so the teeth cannot ride up out of the notches as you turn.

Case clearance

The outer wall is turned down thin to clear the curve of the case flank. It reaches the seating flange of the screw-on pusher without binding against nearby crown guards or the side of the bezel.

Storage and replacement

Keep the key dry in its partition of your tool tray when off the bench. When the engagement edges round from years of stubborn threads, pull the key from the driver body and seat a fresh 5901-P39 insert.
